Hello, my traditional name is Qwulacetunaat. My English name is Corina. My parents are Amanda Sylvester (nee George) and William Sylvester. On my mother’s side my grandparents are Jenny George and Howie Thomas, and on my father’s side William (Bill) Sylvester and late Teresa Aleck and Joanne Hopkins. I come from Somena and Clem Clem in Quw’utsun. 

I’ve always enjoyed learning, and then taking my knowledge and teaching others. So it’s an honour to work for Stqeeye’ Learning Society as it gives me a chance to learn more about the land. I also got the honour to learn from a lot of my grandparents as my Great Grandmother Violet George had 12 children so getting the chance to learn from my family, I would always ask questions because I was always ready to learn from them, I won’t always know everything but I’m always excited to learn!
